I was aware of it in the moment. That I had a choice to be who I wanted to be. I rather that then realizing after the fact. It’s a much less sweet reprieve.

The letter of the law says, ‘You didn’t use your words.’ The spirit of the law says, ‘I saw your eyes grow wide.’ The spirit of the law says, ‘How was I supposed to know?‘ The heart of the law says, ‘That’s not something I would have appreciated.’

It rarely is: And for that, I am grateful.

What do you see from a 30,000 foot view and 30 foot view? Both views offer a needed perspective. To dwell too long on either creates missed opportunities.

What’s the mental strain on a brain today? What did that look like 5 years ago, 10 years ago, 15 years ago? And yet, from the perspective of convenience the quality of life is at an all time high. That begs the question, what is the biggest impact on your quality of life?
