Are you floating subconsciously through life? If so, here is why you shouldn’t be.

Alexandar Hamilton lived a conciouse and purposeful life.

Born to a poor single mother, who died shortly after his birth, he did not start life with plush cushioning.

Few thought he would go one to be a statesman much less a Founding Fathers of the United States.

But he did.

Because he lived consciously. Pursued his education in NYC, became a senior aide to General Washington, ran and was elected as a rep. to the Confederation of New York and took steps to be involved in developing The Constitution.

He adapted to circumstances, lived a conciouse life, and stands as a timeless hero because of it.

I believe that this is something we should all strive towards

Practically, to live purposefully means actively practicing 3 steps.

  1. Taking initiative to control the direction and results of your life.

2. Create an opportunity to accomplish what you desire.

3. Making conscious chooses.

The alternative to living a purposeful life is a subconscious one. Where the events that occur come and go without your involvement.

I see this lifestyle lived frequently. People are adamant about things they don’t like, being tired, being late, being out of shape. But they continue to choose to live a subconscious life because avoid responsibility seems to be an easier option.

Well, it isn’t. Living a subconscious life perpetuates dissatisfaction and anger.

When you take responsibility for your decisions you become a lot less angry at the world and less angry at yourself.

The results you desire are not beyond your control.
