We often react in response to our conditions.
Conditions that could affect our attitude could be the weather, drive-through lines or that 10 addition minutes of sleep in the morning.
However, a true spirit of gratitude can not be conditional.
Now you may be thinking “I can’t be grateful for everything that happens in my life. Some things just aren’t even remotely good”.
Let me make an important distinction.
A spirit of gratitude is not being thankful for things.
A spirit of gratitude is not reserved for when life is going well, although we often tend to take this approach.
A spirit of gratitude is not exercised one a year when we sit at the round table to eat turkey.
So what does it mean to have a spirit of gratitude? Daily we experience something of value that is a real gift that we didn’t earn it. A perfect example of this is time.
Every moment is a gift you haven’t earned, you haven’t bought or brought it about in any way.
And this moment is so important because without it you would ‘t be able to experience anything.
This is just one example of something that should make gratefulness rises in our hearts
Be someone who lives gratefully.
