Little actions produced consistently over long periods of time result in a big impact.
That impact can be positive or negative.
When walking through large cities, you can’t help but notice the streets are littered with small pieces of trash. Often times these are small items that have collected into large, significant piles.
This is a small example of a bigger principle.
What small actions are we participating in? How are those actions affecting us? Those small actions could be hitting snooze, or leaving your bed a mess every morning.
These little actions become habits. A study in the Harvard Business Review found 40-45% of our daily actions to be developed habits.
Be aware of the direction in which you are headed with your small purposeful action.
Once you start looking for little actions you subconsciously make, you’ll begin to notice how they affect the bigger picture.
