Part of my life philosophy is that people are the most valuable resource. And more specifically, that the right people are the most valuable resource.
However, making a distinction of the ” right people” begs the question, what about the “not right” people?
Here’s where context comes in.
In the context of politeness, there are no “right people” to extend kindness to, because there are no wrong people to extend kindness to. And there are no “right people” to treat with consideration because there are no wrong people to treat with consideration.
However, there are the “right people” to surround yourself with and there are “right people” to actively invest in.
Analogous, to any business role, you have candidates who are a fit for the role and some who are not. Extend that thinking within the context of extending an invite to be a co-founder or work on an important project with you. Clearly, in those contexts, there are “right people.”
