Begin With the End in Mind

If you haven’t read Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” stop what you’re doing and go get it.

If you enjoy, self-help books, working smart not hard, open to improving yourself, and applying new things principles, this book will serve as your bible.

One of the great principles discussed in this book is the idea that you should begin with the end in mind.

A simple concept, don’t just being projects without seeing how they add up to impact you in the end. A small action, like slouching in your chair every day, can amount to an enormous impact if you’re not conscious of the impact at the end.

Seek to be alert to the end goal.

In regards to your daily tasks, begin with the end in mind.

In regard to your friend choices, begin with the end in mind.

In regard to your eating habits, begin with the end in mind.

It’s easy to get caught up in a short-term perspective but think and act with the end in mind.
