Is a Hopeless Cause One You Abandon?

Do you ever meet people have similarities to a black hole, in that you can continue investing with no return indefinitely?

What should your relationship be with those people? Is their cause hopeless?

No, they undoubtedly have potential.

However, does that mean you need to be actively investing in them? I would argue not.

Sometimes letting people fail, not holding someone’s hand, that is the best way to encourage growth.

You can be an important resource and helping hand by living your life as a good example. Being actively involved often isn’t the best course of action.

A hopeless cause isn’t a cause you abandon, but realistically a problem you enable.

Find a balance between helping people while remaining problem focused.
