Monday Mental Exercise

Write down your story, hone it until it sounds like a tight conversational pitch.

Through telling your story, articulate the problem you’re trying to solve in a super compelling way – where in just two minutes anyone could “get you.”

Seriously, I challenge you to do the above exercise.

Below, I try the exercise for myself.

From a young age, Elizabeth was determined to live life to her fullest potential.

Starting her first business when she was 8, it was apparent she was filled with a drive to push herself to be the best she could be.

Turning down no challenge, 12-year-old Elizabeth would be proud to tell you she had made 1,000 origami birds and jumped 999 consecutive times on a pogo stick.

In pursuit of her desire to live life to the fullest, she was an avid reader and over a summer read over 10,000 pages.

From the ages of 12-17, Elizabeth was involved in competitive speech and debate, some accolades include state champion, a 3-year qualifier to Nationals, and placing in the top 3% of debators.

Public speaking reaffirmed that she loved to push herself to be the best she could be – but also taught her that she wanted to motivate others to live life to the fullest too.

And today that narrative holds true.

The problem I’m trying to solve – people not living to their fullest potential. How I go about solving that is by living my life in a way that inspires others as well as being someone who opens doors for other people, who open doors for other people.
