This is a simple lesson that was again impressed on me while ironing my shirt.

Check the process, reflect on what you’re doing as you’re doing it.

In my specific case, I ended up ironing my entire shirt once over but the iron wasn’t hot enough so the shirt was about as wrinkled as when I started.

After realizing that I simply turned up the heat and starting again.

It’s the simple things that often hold powerful principles – iterate as you go – not after going through once.
