Acknowledging Weakness Makes Your Team Stronger

It’s hard to patch a hole while blindfolded.

In whatever context you find yourself, I’m sure you can find an area that could be strengthened, something that’s not as good as it could be.

In general, some of you may not want to acknowledge areas of weaknesses, and especially not within yourself.

However, consider how inspiring it is to be surrounded by people who are transparent and open with their weaknesses.

Not only does acknowledging personal weaknesses give you a better perception of yourself, but it also affects those around you.

When you vocalize your weakness your team can get a better picture of what’s going on, where to pitch in to help and inspire them to be transparent with areas they’re struggling with.

By being vulnerable you make your team strong.

Acknowledge your weaknesses but don’t embrace them.
