What does it look like to live the truth that you can create opportunity?
In my mind, I envision it looks something like triumphantly march through the ruins of perfection-seeking falsities and venture forward to build anew.
I believe that similar to New Year’s resolutions, which find themselves so frequently uncompleted because they lack clarity, we are often unclear on what type of “opportunity” we’re looking for.
I’m guilty of this myself.
When we say we’re looking for a “good opportunity” we’ve often placed our rose-colored glasses on.
With eyes reserved for the elusive golden goose, we wouldn’t see this “good opportunity” until it hit our windshield.
Because we’re focused on the utopian situation, we become very good at disregarding things that don’t fit our perfected pallet.
We have a very vague extreme best case scenario.
A dangerous perspective if I ever heard it.
Looking, seeking and searching are all things that can be done in conjunction to building. There is always something you can do to build and create the opportunity you want. Don’t wait for a “good opportunity” to hit your windshield, start building it.
