It is good to ask yourself the question “what is the opposite of x?”

It can help you understand what you need to get rid of in order to get more of what you want.

As well as help you gain clarity on what you do want.

It can give you a perspective to evaluate.

In regard to humility, I think this is an attribute we should all strive to pursue.

To be successful in that endeavor it is beneficial to identify the opposite of humility, which is not pride but insecurity.

For insecurity is what leads us to be arrogant and prideful.

Humility is knowing with confidence your worth and not feeling the need to be overly showy about your accomplishments.
