Own Your Vocation

Too often we divide our lives into two categories: there is work and there is life outside of work.

The former being a means to support the later, where we’d, often, much rather spend our time.

Whatever work situation you’re currently in, your experience is at this very moment, being determined by your mindset.

When I say your mindset determines your “experience” do not confuse this with thinking you can think dream, think or believe something and it immediately becomes reality. That would be asinine.

Instead, consider adopting a mindset where you treated your current job, whatever it is, as your vocation.

In practicality, what would that look like?

The word “vocation” is derived from the Latin word “calling”.

Acting as though what you are currently accomplishing is something you were called to do. Because at the end of the day, your work, whatever it is, has an impactful purpose and direction.

Start treating your job, as a calling. Own your vocation.
