You can make a lesson out of anything, if you look for it.
I’ve had a cold, headache, sore throat, the plague, etc. on and off for the past week and a half and I couldn’t help but make an observation: while sick you tend to focus more on your self.
This can be a good thing, a necessary thing in fact, in that you need to take extra care of yourself.
However, when focused on yourself it is inherently more difficult to focus on and serve others.
So when you’re sick next, challenge yourself to find opportunities to serve others even while sick.
Not only will it resolve some of the mundaneness of being sick but it may just be the cure for your mental mindset and therefore you’re reality.
