(A series that nobody wanted, especially yours truly.)
10 months ago I got poison oak.
And just two weekends ago, I got it yet AGAIN.
So logically, the next step is to never leave the house again, a fool proof plan undoubtably.
However, in all seriousness, I learned a few important things when I encountered poison oak last time, and this time I have a few different take aways.
Just because you can grin and bear it doesn’t mean you should.
Family becomes so much more valuable when you need help.
And, I learned some lessons a second time.
When you physically can’t do something it presents lots of opportunity to be grateful.
You live, you itch, and you learn.
Until next time.
(Or not, I really would not mind leaving this to a two part series.)
