Why Showing Your Humanity Creates Great Conversation

Laughing, exclaiming, questioning, these are all ways to express your humanity.

The faster you do them in your personal conversations, business negotiations, and initial introductions, the closer you’ll be to achieving great conversation.

Why?

Because all of those actions signaling to the other person “I see you. I understand you. I care about you. I’m interested in what you’re saying.”

The fact of the matter is people open up and talk to people who make them feel good and important.

Note, stating the obvious but, in order for these expression to be most effective, they should stem from genuine interest.
