Empower The Consumer

I went to a street fair with various vendors this weekend.

The set up was composed of white collapsible tables littered with numerous items.

As I strolled around the fair it was not uncommon to come across items that had no clear price.

This experience made me unsure as a consumer and eventually forced me to ask the booth attendee the price of various items, seeing as that was the only method of gaining such information.

Thankfully, this poor experience all changed when I approached one of the last booths, which was run by a women who greeted me upon arrival, explained her product, the price and discounted items.

This was such a great, and starkly different experience then what I had felt before that I immediately told her how empowered I felt as a consumer.

She smiled and informed me that this was her 8th year at the fair, she had tailored her pitch to create a stellar customer experience. Learn from this women and save yourself 8 years of poor booth etiquette.

Running a booth is an art, empower the consumer.
