In Which I Quote An African Proverb

I’ve written previously about the importance of asking friends: What do you need in a friend right now?

This gives them an opportunity to speak and gives you an opportunity to listen to how you can be a better friend.

It’s worth noting that asking someone this question will provide better results than if you were to guess at the answer, which we do a surprising amount.

Personally, I’ve found it difficult to answer this question.

But recently, I’ve realize that what I really value in friends is having someone who encourages and pushes me to become the person I want to be.

Now it’s on me to define who the person I want to be is, and then to thank and show appreciation for when my friends help me get closer to that.

If you want to go quicklygo aloneIf you want to go fargo together.”
