Earlier this week I wrote about “Mind vs Body.”
Your body can do a lot, but often our minds act as a barrier.
One mental limitation I’ve had for a while is an exaggerated apprehension of needles.
Yesterday, I made a step to combat that mental limitation by giving blood for the first time!
The end result is what was to be expected: it really wasn’t that bad!
I would say that stubbing your toe is around the equivalent of pain, it’s just the context of the pain that makes it uncomfortable.
No growth ever happens inside your comfort zone. Seek discomfort.
