When was the last time you had a debate?

Where you presented a perspective, not one you necessarily believed, and supported it with different points.

Then having the person you’re conversing with give their perspective, and ask them questions to better understand their position.

Having debates, is really just a more robust way of sharing ideas. It forces you to address the other position and establish a more substantive case as to why your side would be more beneficial.
