In business we are often considering how can we attract attention.
Long enough to communicate with them, help them identify a pain or discover a possibility of what could be.
This is an important part of business. In order to survive you need to have customers. And it’s quite difficult to get customers if they don’t know about you.
I think we undersell the impact and visibility that kindness brings businesses.
Pure kindness, not the sly covered bait and switch, speaks loudly.
It demands attention.
For example, I’ve thought about Joannes more in the past two weeks then I have in the past two years because of what they’re doing to support the effort to sew masks.
Not only does it make me like the company more but it also makes me want to share with others. (Like I’m doing right now.)
I urge you to be kind.
No.
More accurately, I urge you to be outrageously kind.
