Selecting a season to garner with the majority of one’s affection and anticipation meant turning a cold shoulder to three of the four remaining seasons.

This always struck me as an unfortunate and undesirable predicament.

Eventually a new paradigm was adopted; whatever season was currently being experienced was the season to express gratitude for.

That perspective rapidly changed when tax season appeared.
