The day started with a visit to 126 The Noodle Factory. We had some killer pork on rice with pickled vegetables, noodle soup and chicken thigh.
If there’s anything I’ve learned about traveling it’s that being able to eat at anytime is a plus. you never know what delicious food you’re going to encounter.
Within a 15 minute walk from lunch we visited three beautiful wats (temples) that absolutely blew me away.
Then we walked around the independents monument, celebrating when Cambodia gained independence from France in 1953.
Then we visited the Wat Phnom Daun Penh and the National Museum of Cambodia.
The National Museum of Cambodia has an underwhelming level of effort put into their descriptions, and desire to give you back the correct change we learned, but the location and central garden were stunning.
