What Would You Trade New York For?

You’re the Dutch in the 1600s.

You’ve set up ports around the world to facilitate trade.

One particularly successful settlement was christened New Amsterdam. Today known as New York.

After various conflicts in the Third Anglo-Dutch War, where the Dutch re-conquered Manhattan, you trade New Amsterdam as a part of a peace treaty and get Suriname in South America.

One trading port for another, yet so much more in the balance.
