I envision this as a children’s picture book.

A market is made up of people.
Some are buyers, some are sellers, and others are both buyers and sellers.
Markets can sell goods, like apples, cars, and chairs, or services, like tutoring, cooking, and tour guiding.
When you buy or sell something, you are participating in the market.
Because there are so many different interests among people, there are many different markets.
There are some markets you may never participate in because you don’t know they exist.
For example, grilled stingray with chili paste in Singapore is delicious. But if you’ve never been there or heard of it, you’ll probably never seek it out to buy!
There are some markets you may never participate in because no solution exists yet-like wanting to experience teleportation.
There are some markets you may never participate in because you’re not interested in the items offered.
Like getting coaching on how to become a sumo wrestler.
There are some very big markets and some very small markets.
Do you think the market of people who want to buy hamburgers is big?
How about the number of people who want to pay to be tutored on learning their times tables up to 200?
