Italy.
The land of pasta, gelato, and knowledge.
In 1848, a man by the name of Wilfried Fritz Pareto was born.
The name wasn’t the only thing remarkable about Wilfred, he was quite the scholar, spanning sociology, civil engineering, economics, political science, and philosophy.
What we have ladies and gentleman is a polymath.
His observation that 80% of the wealth in Italy belonged to about 20% of the population was later coined after him and is commonly known as the Pareto principle.
However, his first job out of college was as a civil engineer, and it wasn’t until his late forties that he pursued economics seriously.
Your most memorable mark is still ahead.
