A sapling sprouted in a secluded forrest. Time passes and roots begin to extend. Upon discovering a pocket of water, which consistently captures moisture from the morning dew, the sapling grew. The predictability of the water pocket makes for security, but not one that provides for long term growth. Quickly the water source is insufficient…

You can typically do something about it. Whether that’s take a break. Ask for help. Or seek out feedback. It might get worse before it gets better; but find condolence that there’s typically something you can do about it.

Create your own yard stick, not marked by conventional wisdom but bearing unique attributes. It’s refined and polished over time as you see the wisdom and folly in those around you. A day comes where you see there’s growth and the joy you feel is increasing.

There’s a flavor to each story. Some stories taste like bias. Others a key lime twist of a tale.
