you are stronger than a hypocrit, don’t let yourself become one.

I’m writing something a little different today.

This is a personal reflection of sorts.

Over the past week, I’ve been thinking a lot about listening.

Studying the fundamentals of what listening even means, how to become a better listener, and productive habits to build.

I never want to forget that pursuing wisdom, reading from top journals and hearing inspiring messages from authorities are worthless if you are not applying what you learn to yourself.

How you are improving is the metric that matters.

The time I spend learning pays off when I apply what I learn. Otherwise, the time I spend understanding a subject without applying it is equivalent to staring at paint dry.

If you find yourself consuming information without taking action consider taking on a previous manifesto of sorts, that you will choose daily a path of actionable improvement in the support of ideas you believe in.

You are stronger than a hypocrite, don’t let yourself become one.
