Trader Joes is in my top two favorite grocery stores.

Today, while at Trader Joes I asked an associate where their Matcha Joe-Joe’s were.

I was met with terrible news, the Matcha Joe-Joe’s are seasonal.

Obviously disappointed I asked when they’d be back, the associate replied in next spring.

As I turned around crestfallen I asked myself, did the Matcha Joe-Joe’s become better now that they were gone?

I’m reminded that just because something is rare doesn’t make it better.
