I absolutely love creating memories filled with community, adventure and positive discomfort.
My roommate Lydia and I, when not living the laptop linked life of a startup employee, explore the bustling streets and hidden gems that San Francisco so abundantly offers.
Sometimes that means biking across the Golden Gate or visiting Wholesome Bakery.
Today I reflected on a memory of adventure. You guessed it, visiting Wholesome Bakery.
The unique proposition of this bakery is that their baked goods are vegan and dairy free. An interesting and tasty treat, but not something I would go out of my way to pursue.
I’m not their target market, but those who are find themselves absolutely delighted by the goods offered.
Now where do the wholesome thoughts enter the picture?
Well, wholesome is defined as: conducive to or promoting moral well-being.
And when I think about the happiness that this bakery can bring to it’s consumers it made me think about influence
How we are influenced by what makes us happy or sad. And how we can sometimes let our lives be controlled by these things.
Those things, people, experiences can act as idols in your life, which you can quickly become a servant to.
So I present to you a wholesome thought, what things are you allowing your emotions to be governed by?
