A Step Towards Being Proactive

Seeing others be generous may inspires you to be generous.

Seeing others speed increase the likelihood that you speed.

Seeing others frustrated may spark frustration in you.

The truth is, the actions of those around you is impactful on how you act.

However, there are two paths of potential impact.

The truly proactive who identify how those around them might effect them to react and if it’s not positively, they determine to be proactive and change course.

While others may impulsively react, even if it’s not the most beneficial outcome.

Thankfully you choose which path you walk. And sometimes you walk both paths multiple times in a day.

Today someone was generous and inspirer me to be generous. On the other hand, someone was cold to me and in turn, I reacted coldly to them.

This moment of reflection, although powerful and impactful on how I respond to those round me going forward, is not enough by itself. I need to take a step towards being proactive and apologize.
