As I continue to grow closer to God I am astounded by how complacent people can be with the best that this world has to offer.

Because frankly, it’s not that good!!

I understand that 1) good can be subjective 2) as I grow closer to God my priorities are changing, but even when I interact with those far from God, who are seemingly solely seeking pleasure it is a rocky road filled with hurt, the lack of fulfillment, and fleeting joy.

What a narrow glance of what could be!

The best of this world is unappealing.
