Especially in relationships, the why that motivates your actions matter.
It matters tremendously.
For example, examine two relationships, one where the motivator is from love and the other is from fear.
Which relationship would you rather be in?
With that as context, consider where you might be making decisions to hold yourself back, withholding input, and how those might be motivated by fear. If so you might consider sharing that with a friend and letting them encourage you to walk away from fear and into love.
From an alternative perspective, consider if you are creating a relationship where the other person is motivated by fear and not love.
