Conceptual Placement

Everything starts in the mind first, and then translates to the body.

The better you can conceptualize how you’re going to do something the more precise you become.

Maybe that’s visualizing how you’ll approach the last lap in the race, or where you’ll start generating sounds to hit that note.

And if you’re Micheal Phelps, visualizing your form before every swim meet.

Take a moment to mentally concentrate on where you’re going, before you start.
