Executing your habits require little effort.
However, to successfully teach a routine habit of yours to someone else is not easy.
Here is a framework to make that a little easier.
Step One: Demonstrate how to do x
Step Two: Watch them go through the steps you demonstrated
Step Three: Have them teach you or someone else how to do it
Step Four: Continue going through Steps 1-3 until you’re comfortable with their level of consistency
The common mistake made when training is only completing the first step.
You’re trained once and they walk away before watching you to ensure you’re doing it right.
It’s very likely you’re training on more than one action, so expect to do this multiple times.
Learn. Train. Repeat.
