Why Do Veterans Miss War?

What veterans miss about war? Brotherhood.

This is the conclusion of an interesting TED talk by American journalist, Sebastian Junger.

This is supported by the fact that when marines are asked why they are willing to risk their lives for their fellow man the answer is because their fellow man would do the exact same thing for them.

That level of camaraderie is unparalleled.

It makes sense that you would miss that feeling.

Where else do you find that sense of camaraderie?

After war, sports seem like a second place.

How can we build more camaraderie in community events faced in every day endeavors?
