I sent a package to the wrong address.
Totally my fault.
I left a note on the door.
I talked to the person in the neighboring apartment.
I called the sign in the yard.
I called the sign in the yard again, and again.
I called the company.
The customer service rep’s name was Matt.
Matt was willing to do the impossible, mark the item as lost and ship me another.
I was shocked.
Now I want to shop there more – but I’m not a spender for the sake of spending so for now I’m just a happy customer.
But I’ll definitely tell my friends.
And undoubtably, I wouldn’t have told my friends otherwise.
Being customer focused pays.
