Why Do I Write?

A life is made up of days.

Each day I have a choice to shape who I am.

Each day I write.

Although the above is the lions share of why I write, I know it makes me a better person, the person I want to be, here are some additional factors.

After almost four years of writing daily the idea of breaking this streak sends a foreboding shiver down my spine.

I love documenting what I learn, especially because the world is so interesting.

I love words, how they electrify each other, and provoke a reaction in the readers mind.

I love how much I still have to learn about writing.

I love to create.
