Withholding an opinion has various ripple effects.
On the one hand it can be a positive, avoiding unnecessary points of conflict.
On the other hand it can be a negative, you’ve put the burden on others to tease out your preferences through prolonged question asking.
Creating a culture of honesty, transparency, where you can count on others to voice their opinions or withhold them if they’re of minor significance is a golden mix.
