Charles was within his first few months of life.
Having been born amidst a chorus of chirps great joy was found in discovering life’s prize storerooms.
Thus far spring was his favorite.
It had a cheerful tone to it.
And, contributing to some extent, was the fact that it was the season he was born in.
He now knew after spring came summer, with new adventures.
During that time, he shed a few feathers and grew even more.
Charles would fluff his wings and hop with youthful determination to the edge of the nest.
The innate desire to fly was strong.
Never having experienced the next upcoming season, both in terms of weather and life in general, he wondered, what will I wish I would have done today 6 months from now?
How will my world be different?
