Steve Jobs On Design

“Most people make the mistake of thinking design is what it [a product] looks like. People think it’s this veneer – that the designers are handed this box and told, “Make it look good!” That’s not what we think design is. It’s not just what it looks and feels like. Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs, 2003, NY Times interview

Beauty alone doesn’t serve people.

Like a foundation is critical to a home so is utility and intuitiveness to design.

Don’t strive for pretty, let intuitive and simple be your North Star.
