Finally, an opportunity to treat herself!

The store at the airport sold her favorite cookies.

She picked out a pack and went to go find a place to sit down and eat.

Finding a spot near a small girl, she settled in.

These cookies were so good!

Two or three in she noticed the little girl was eating what looked suspiciously like the same kind of cookie.

Sure enough, as she paid closer attention, the little girl next to her reached her hand into her bag of cookies and ate one!

She was shocked.

Deciding to use subtle cues she picked up a cookie and ate it, making a huffing sound as she did.

But the little girl seemed not to notice.

This went on and on until, only a single cookie remained.

A stillness fell.

The little girl placed her hand on the lash cookie, slowly brought it to herself and broke it in half.

She offered a piece.

Taking it, the thought of how very peculiar this situation had became was pondered by both parties.

Eventually the flight boarded and each parted ways.

As the women settled into her flight she reached into your bag and to her surprise pulled out, an unopened box of cookies.
