Sugar, flour, water, yeast, butter, and salt. This combination could make any number of things, bagels, bread, croissants, etc. In a state of possibility they are evaluated honestly. Once a combination has been named bias invades.

Respect is earned. Born from a shared experience or grown from hearing of a past experience. This does not happen spontaneously.

What you celebrate gets emphasized. What you applaud gets repeated. What you pay attention to multiplies.

Our affect as individuals and a society are often masked by time. This has led to a likely legacy of short sighted creatures. Tomorrow is today’s responsibility. Act like it; take extreme ownership.
