Think of your closest friend. Can you think of the first sentence that was said? Maybe, “What’s your name?” Or maybe, “Can you teach me how to float?”

The pin shows your location. Your location shows rain, you’re dressed for sun. Finding the delta between where you are and where you want to be can only be done if you can identify both point. It would have been better if you had packed an umbrella.

The closer you get, the less appealing it seems. Then suddenly your perspective shifts. It’s less of what it can do for you, and what you can do for it.
