A Case To Love Your Customer

It always comes back to the customer.

It is your role to serve them.

And in sales, it is your role to maximize their investment.

In order to accomplish the above with excellence you need to establish trust.

This is no easy task, but there is good news.

Selfless love destroys mistrust.

So how can sales men and women display selfless love?

In order to answer that question, let’s first define love.

Love is patient, kind, does not envy or boast, is not proud, does not dishonor others, is not self-seeking, is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs, rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hope, always perseveres.

So practically what does that look like when interacting with potential clients and customers?

Things that come to mind are, being considerate of them and showing genuine concern and interest in their situation. Actively looking for areas to providing value outside of just your product or service. If they love books, tell them about your latest great read!

Do they have an interest in learning how to better manage their time? Tell them about a technique you’ve found helpful.

Establish a genuine friendship where they feel heard, understood, and helped.

Love your customers selflessly.
