Knowing Your Values Is Key To Becoming Your Best Self

A book I read every year is The Last Safe Investment by Bryan Franklin and Michael Ellsberg.

The core message of The Last Safe Investment is to live intentionally.

You do so by developing three disciplines: spend systemically, increase your value to others and increase your Happiness Exchange Rate.

These disciplines develop your three assets: adviser equity, tribe and savings.  The more you practice these things, the more your True Wealth grows.

Of these disciplines I want to shine a spotlight on your Happiness Exchange Rate. Which is the happiness you experience from every dollar you spend or invest.

This demands that you are in tune with your values and act in line with them.

Most people go through life without clearly defining thier values.

And logically when something is unclear it makes it difficult to follow.

You will never be able to optimize for your best self if you do not get clear on what you value.

So, what are you waiting for?
