Martin Buber was an Israeli philosopher who made an interesting point in his study of existentialism.
Martin underlies in his “I vs Thou” argument that there are only two ways of being in the world: we can be in the world seeing others as people or seeing others as objects.
If your heart is at war it is impossible to see others as people.
If your heart is at peace it is impossible to see others as objects.
What state is your heart in?
