Two pieces of career advice that general apply across roles:
Firstly, always align features, ideas, etc. with business objectives or an OKR, e.g. higher conversion & retention, reduce churn. There is often a “one metric that matters” and no matter your role in the company, clearly communicating how you impact that metric is super important.
Secondly, don’t say yes to everyone as you navigate communicating between people, know when to have group emails, a monthly group sync, etc.
