Some people love feedback, others not so much.
Bridgewater Associates is an extremely successful hedge fund known for their radical honesty and ability to give and take feedback, no matter your position in the organization.
Take for example a scathing letter which was written to the CEO, Ray Dalio. Which Ray then turned around and shared with the entire company and his Ted talk.
One of the practices at Bridgewater that I find particularly interesting is ask for feedback on how you took feedback.
Did I have an open mind to what you said? Did I react negatively?
What new insight would you gain if you asked for feedback on how you received feedback?
