It’s amazing how quickly one can loose perspective. Tapestries weaved with assumptions that your experiences are a baseline for how other people should act, clutter our mental models. Untangling a tapestry is the first step to refine it.

There’s joy to be had. Joy that is regardless of one’s circumstances. Joy that is independent of the predictions of peers. To find it, you must seek.

A door swings two ways, open and close. Less important is which side of the door you’re on, but rather what’s on the other side. To be exposed or shielded, that is the question.
